The Northwoods Retreat Hunting Club
The Northwoods Retreat is a hunting preserve and game farm located in Southwest Wisconsin. Our preserve has over 600 acres of prime hunting land with the facilities to raise our own game birds. The area is away from the business world and located in a prime farm and forested countryside. The retreat offers sportsmen the thrill of hunting upland game and a quality experience.
Pheasant hunting is available from September first through April 30. Packages are available for half day hunt, overnight hunts and week end packages. We are open year round for all types of activities.
No membership is required to hunt pheasant or quail and there is no bag limit. No state of Wisconsin hunting license is required to hunt our birds (resident or non-resident).
Hen pheasants are legal game on th preserve.
Your dogs are always welcome. We do offer dogs and a guide for an additional fee.
Half day hunts are available. We will offer a guide and dog for an additional fee.
Boscobel is the wild turkey capital of Wisconsin. We offer wild turkey hunts in the spring and fall (You must have a Wisconsin turkey license).
